"Little Women" the Musical Seeks Girls

Seeking girls ages 14 and up for "Little Women" the Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: Based on Louisa May Alcott's life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested – her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America. Additional info: For auditions, prepare 16-32 bars of a classic musical theater song. Please bring sheet music (or a recorded karaoke track on a Bluetooth-capable device) for the accompanist, with the part you are singing clearly marked. Acapella singing is not permitted. Be prepared to list any rehearsal and/or performance date conflicts. You may be asked to sing or read from the script as well as learn a quick dance piece. Performance Dates: March 27-29/April 2-4.
