About the project: In the heart of medieval Paris, the bells of Notre Dame ring out over a city divided—between the powerful and the powerless, the righteous and the wicked, the free and the confined. Quasimodo, the cathedral’s isolated bell-ringer, longs to leave his tower and join the world below, while the captivating and compassionate Esmeralda fights for justice among the outcasts. As Archdeacon Frollo’s obsession spirals into tyranny, the three are pulled into a collision of faith, fate, and forbidden desire.
