Teen Actors Needed for "The Crucible" Show
Casting teen performers for "The Crucible" production. Details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Widely considered a masterpiece by the great American playwright, Arthur Miller, this timeless classic challenges American ideas of power, intolerance, and justice. In the Puritan community of Salem, Massachusetts, a group of girls are discovered dancing in the woods, then mysteriously fall ill. When no earthly cause can be identified, fear and suspicion that something larger, more fearsome, and other-worldly may be to blame begins to grow. One accusation spirals into many, uncovering a web of bigotry and deceit that changes the lives of Salem’s residents forever. Among the most produced American plays since its 1953 debut, The Crucible is a gripping historical drama – and more relevant than ever.
