About the project: Groundhog Day is a musical adaptation of the 1993 film starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. It premiered on the West End in 2016 and received two Olivier awards, including Best New Musical. Music and lyrics for the show are by Tim Minchin, with book by Danny Rubin. Groundhog Day contains adult themes and situations. Rate: All roles are volunteer, non-AEA Additional info: Groundhog Day, playing June 20 – July 12, 2026 Callbacks (by invitation): Sunday, January 18, 2026 (2-6pm). Rehearsals begin April 20, 2026. Evening performances: June 20, 26, 27 and July 2, 10, 11 Matinee performances: June 21, 28 and July 5, 12 Prepare 1 minute of a musical selection in the style of the show.
