About the project: A struggling writer battling sobriety joins a recovery group and forms an unexpected bond with a bitter older man who always carries a black umbrella. As their connection deepens, she’s forced to confront her own grief, rebuild her relationship with her mother, and finally find the courage to step back into the light. Rate: Non-Union. Unpaid.
