Casting Boys and Girls for "Mamma Mia" Show

Audition for "Mamma Mia". WCS students in grades 9-12 can participate. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Before the audition, you'll want to prepare one verse from a song you know well -- musicals are best, but any song will do. At the audition, you'll sing, act out excerpts from the script, and learn a small bit of choreography. The Audition Process Please prepare a song to sing. It should be a song that you know well, that fits and shows off your voice. You will sing no more than a minute of the song. Please try to find a karaoke or backing track that provides the instrumentals of the song. You will be asked to do cold reads, in which you get an excerpt from a script and a partner or two, practice for a few minutes, and then perform. You will learn a small amount of choreography, which you will perform with a group of other auditionees. If interested, please apply.
