"Charlotte’s Web" Play Seeks Boys and Girls
Audition for "Charlotte’s Web" Play. Open to anyone ages 12 - 14. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on E.B White’s 1952 young adult novel, the production will use the dramatic adaptation by Joseph Robinette. A heartwarming story about friendship, loyalty, and the cycle of life, “Charlotte’s Web” centers around a pig named Wilbur and his unlikely friendship with a kind, wise spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered, Charlotte uses her web-weaving skills to write messages in the barn’s rafters, convincing the world that Wilbur is “Terrific” and “Some Pig,” and saving his life. As she helps Wilbur find a new home and future, Charlotte must also face her own mortality. “Charlotte’s Web” is a tale of true compassion, sacrifice, and the beauty of small acts of kindness.
