"Alice By Heart" Teen Audition for the Theater

Calling all teens ages 14-18! Auditions are open for “Alice By Heart.” Full info below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Alice and her ailing best friend, Alfred, take shelter in a tube station. To escape the grim reality of his tuberculosis and impending death, Alice recites Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and they are transported to a Wonderland filled with characters who reflect their struggles with grief and loss. Additional info: CALLBACKS Monday, Dec 15 • 5pm-8pm All who audition will be called. Be ready for: Dance Call (learn and present choreography) Reading Sides Chemistry Reads (reading sides with other actors) Please note that during callbacks, actors may be released at any time, depending on the characters they are called for. Please prepare FOR YOUR AUDITION: A 1-minute monologue that carries themes from the show or role you are auditioning for. Please don’t use anything from Alice By Heart. A 1-minute cut of a pop-rock or folk-rock song. It can be from a musical, but it is not required. There will be a pianist present, so you will need to bring sheet music of your song with marked start and stop points. Please bring a headshot (a current photo chest up) and a resumé ( a list of any dance, acting, and singing experience, including classes, awards, programs, performances, and special skills) Please see the attachment for details.
