About the project: The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr. is a family-friendly musical based on Jeff Brown’s classic book Flat Stanley. The story follows Stanley Lambchop, an ordinary boy who longs for a life of adventure. When a bulletin board above his bed falls and flattens him to just half an inch thick, Stanley discovers that being flat comes with unexpected advantages—he can slip under doors, be mailed around the world, and become an instant celebrity.Encouraged by his family, Stanley sets off on a whirlwind journey, traveling by envelope to places like Hollywood, France, and Hawaii. Along the way he meets colorful characters, has comedic misadventures, and learns that being special isn’t about fame or flatness, it’s about being yourself.
