About the project: Next to Normal tells the story of Diana Goodman, a suburban wife and mother who suffers from bipolar disorder and is haunted by the loss of her infant son. The effects on her family have been profound. Her doctors suggest hypnosis and Electroconvulsive Therapy in an attempt to manage her condition. The show’s themes include mental health, grief, medical ethics, and attempting to define what “normal” is. Additionla info: Both audition dates begin at 7:00 p.m. Registration opens at 6:30 pm and will close at 7:30 p.m. Performances: March 6-8, 13-15, & 20-22, 2026 Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 2:30 p.m. If interested, please apply.
