About the project: Join Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and all your favorite fairy-tale misfits in this hilarious and heartwarming adventure! Based on the DreamWorks Animation motion picture and the Broadway musical, Shrek Jr. brings the beloved ogre’s story to life with spectacular songs, outrageous humor, and an inspiring message about friendship, self-acceptance, and the beauty in being different. Follow Shrek as he embarks on a daring quest to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded tower—with a talkative donkey by his side and a villainous Lord Farquaad standing in his way. Filled with big laughs, unforgettable characters, and plenty of swampy charm, Shrek Jr. is a fun-filled show for the whole family! Additional info: All auditioning must have the following prepared: 30 seconds of a song to perform in front of the production team A 20–30 second monologue to perform for the production team A printed headshot (preferably 4x6 size). If one is not provided, a member of the production staff will take a photo after the audition. Sunday, 01/04/2025 – Call Backs (2pm–5pm) Everyone is requested to attend the entire callback audition.
