About the project: Roald Dahl’s Matilda JR. is a high-energy, funny, and inspiring musical about a smart, imaginative girl who discovers her own strength and courage while standing up to unfair adults and changing her story. Filled with bold characters, unforgettable songs, and exciting choreography, the show celebrates creativity, confidence, and the power kids have to make a difference! Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Each audition time block will include a singing, acting, and dancing portion. Students should participate in all three components of the audition: - Singing: Please prepare one vocal selection from the show (see selections below) - Acting: Please be prepared to read from a script. - Dance: Please be prepared to learn a light movement routine. Dress casually/comfortably! Please arrive 10 minutes early. Late arrivals may miss the opportunity to audition due to time limitations. If you are interested please apply.
