About the project: Martin Vanderhof, or Grandpa, as he is more commonly known, oversees a large and extended family of charming eccentrics. When his granddaughter, Alice, falls for handsome Wall Street scion Tony, Alice fears that their two families – so unlike in manner, politics and finances – will never come together. But why be obsessed by money? After all, you can’t take it with you! An ensemble of quirky characters, romance, IRS agents, ballet, pet snakes, typewriters - and lots and lots of fireworks - make for a heartwarming cacophony of hijinks and hilarity!
