Looking for talent ages 15 and up for "Legally Blonde: The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the novel and the hit movie of the same name, Legally Blonde: The Musical chronicles the journey of the famously perky Elle Woods, a fashion-savvy, UCLA sorority girl who finds her life turned upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend, Warner. In an effort to prove to Warner that she is more than just some blonde sorority girl, she follows him to Harvard Law, where she struggles to fit in and do well. Ultimately, she defies expectations and manages to stay true to her delightfully pink personality. Additional info: What to Prepare: -24–32 bars of a song from any musical (not Legally Blonde) Sing a cappella or bring music on your phone/Bluetooth speaker -You will learn a short choreography routine and may be asked to read from the script. Rehearsals will begin the first week of January (date to come) Rehearsal dates and times will be scheduled around availability; however typical rehearsals will be: Sundays 5 pm-8 pm, Tuesdays 6 pm-8 pm, and Thursdays 6 pm-8 pm There will be a Tech Week of rehearsal from February 22-25. These rehearsals will be mandatory. Performances: There will be eight (8) performances of Legally Blonde: Feb. 26, 7pm Feb. 27, 7pm Feb. 28, 7pm Mar. 1, 1pm Mar. 5, 7pm Mar. 6, 7pm Mar. 7, 7pm Mar. 8, 1pm All performances are mandatory If interested, please apply.

An exercise video tycoon who is an alum of Elle’s sorority. She is energetic and charismatic, yet currently on trial for her husband’s murder. Dance skills and being physically fit is a must for this role, to properly do high level aerobics with enough stamina to continue singing.
Enid is a strong, passionate, and outwardly feminist law student at Harvard, who is skeptical of Elle, and eventually becomes her friend. Must have great comedic timing and be able to patter-sing clearly.
Serena is the energetic cheerleader, typically of Jewish heritage.
Margot is the seemingly dimwitted, boy-crazy sorority sister.
Pilar is the sassy and sensible one.
The brainiest and quirkiest sorority sister in Delta Nu, who helps Elle study to get into Harvard Law. She has a featured vocal solo in “What You Want”.
An attractive, smooth-talking UPS delivery man. He is Paulette’s dream guy. Irish dance skills are a plus.
