Young talent needed for upcoming singing auditions for "The Secret Garden" – see details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Mary Lennox is sent to live with her reclusive uncle. When Mary discovers a hidden door in the estate’s mysterious gardens, she embarks on a journey of healing and transformation. With her cousin Colin and a boy named Dickon, Mary uncovers the magic and beauty that lies within the neglected garden. The Secret Garden is where hope, magic and love – grows. Additional info: Callbacks (if required) Tuesday, December 9 at 7 pm Rehearsals Begin December 13 at 10 am PRODUCTION DATES: February 6 – 22, 2026 Performances Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm (Possible extension through March 1) Auditioners are asked to sing 16- 32 bars of a song that best shows off their voice and range. An accompanist is provided. No recorded accompaniment, please. Please dress for dance audition following. Auditioners should be prepared with a short monologue if requested. Must be submitted prior to December 6, and may substitute for appearing at the Saturday and Sunday auditions. Auditioners must be available to attend in-person callbacks December 9 if required. Video should include a short monologue, 16- 32 bars of a song that best shows off their voice and range, 1 minute dance routine demonstrating dance training, and be uploaded with a headshot, and a resume (if available) when filling out the digital audition form linked above. (Range: Young Voice, Ab3-D5) A ten-year-old girl sent to live with her uncle, Archibald, when her parents die from cholera in India. Quite the curious explorer, and often finding herself in trouble. Stubborn and always fighting for what she believes in.
(Range: Tenor, D3-G4) Martha’s younger brother. Looks after the sick plants and animals within the Misselthwaite grounds—including Mary. He is a young man who is between the world of child imagination and adult reasoning. Befriends Mary and convinces her to take care of the Garden.
(Range: Young Voice, A3-E5) Archibald’s ten year-old son. Spent his life in bed due to a heart condition. He is very stubborn and throws temper tantrums to get what he wants. He believes his father hates him for causing Lily’s death.
