"Dare to Dream Jr." Play Searching For Kids

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking kids (grades 3rd-12th) for "Dare to Dream Jr." play. See the details below. Additional info: Please note that the fee applies. What to prepare: Song: Be prepared to perform ONE of the songs listed on the audition form. Please select one role to signify the song you will be performing at auditions. Directors will provide the accompaniment music for you. The complete list of songs, auditioning roles and the time cuts for each song are found in the attachment. All auditioners must sing the songs listed. There are 25 total singing/speaking roles in Dare to Dream Jr. Roles will be listed as Players 1-15 and Solo A-J. There are also ensemble opportunities. Monologue: ALL GRADE LEVELS: Please bring a monologue of your own choosing that can be up to 45 seconds. Please use a published monologue and do not perform more than one character. Dance: Directors will teach a short 16-count dance at auditions for the kids to perform. This is for those kids whom we have not seen at previous auditions. Includes the conflicts and sign up. Make sure all information is current and complete. Callbacks will be on December 18th- if need them. Cast list will be posted by December 19th. Rehearsals will begin January 4th, and will be on Mondays and Thursdays 6:00-8:00 pm and Sundays 3:00-5:00 pm. Not all actors will be called to every rehearsal. Will provide a calendar (Google Sheet) detailing who needs to attend which rehearsals. All rehearsals and performances will be held at Mosaic Church.
