Additional info: Callbacks: Jan 17, 2026, 10 am-2 pm Cast/Parent Meeting: February 9, 2026, 5:30-7:00 pm Rehearsals Begin: February 10, 2026, Mostly Monday-Friday, 5:30-7:30pm, with occasional Saturday or Sunday rehearsals; rehearsals go til 8:30pm starting Mar 23, 2026. School Shows: April 2 & 3, 2026 Public Shows: April 3 & 4, 2026 - All auditionees are required to prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song. Actors should bring their own sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Singing from a music track or singing a acapella is discouraged. - Auditionees should choose a song that shows off their vocal range, strong acting choices, and that is age-appropriate. - Memorization of your song is highly encouraged. - If you do not have a song, one will be provided for you at auditions. Songs are available ahead of time, one month before auditions, at the Spartanburg Youth Theatre offices in the kiosk at the end of the hallway when you walk down the stairs to our area. You may use one of these songs, or you may use one of your own choosing. - There will not be a dance call at auditions. Actors will not dance until callbacks (if called back).
