About the project: This year’s production, In The Burning Darkness by Antonio Buero-Vallejo is a powerful and moving drama set in a school for the blind, where optimism and despair collide. When a new student challenges the others to confront the painful realities they’ve tried to ignore, tensions rise, revealing deep questions about truth, perception, and the human spirit. A poignant exploration of hope and disillusionment, this play shines a light on what it truly means to see.
