"Short Tales for Children" Needs Boys and Girls

Kids ages 7–15 are welcome to audition for "Short Tales for Children". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The “Short Tales for Children” features short, original plays written by members of the Greensboro Playwrights Forum, which will be directed by UNCG School of Theater Education students under the mentorship of Todd Fisher, Performing Arts Coordinator, and Joshua Purvis, UNCG Professor. “Short Tales” provides young actors a fun environment to explore theatre, supported by college students who are receiving real-world experience in theatre education for children. Additional info: Whether you're a seasoned stage star or brand new to acting, this is your moment! No experience? No problem-every child who auditions will be cast in the show. Performances are set for January 31 and February 1, 2026, at the Van Dyke Performance Space. If interested, please apply.
