Boys and Girls Needed for "The Wizard Of Oz" Show

Seeking talent ages 10-18 years old for "The Wizard Of Oz" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Everyone auditioning for THE WIZARD OF OZ must sing the assigned song(s) and read the assigned lines. You may read for male and female roles, if you choose (select only one from each, in this case). Those auditioning for male roles should pick two of the ‘male’ songs. Those auditioning for female roles should pick two of the ‘female’ songs. SHOW DATES: March 20-22, 2026 READ-THROUGH: Mandatory; at our rehearsal space on Dec. 11th from 4-7pm. You must attend the read-through to accept your role; splitting time allowed. REHEARSALS: Will run from Jan. 5-March 19, 2026 (see the schedule for more detailed information). Missing more than three rehearsals for unexcused absences (i.e. not informing the directors of whereabouts) will result in the student’s role being given to an understudy or the removal of the student from the production. Students may split time with other activities/events up until the week of the show. MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS is not a show that requires all roles to be at rehearsal every day. There will be plenty of "everybody" rehearsals, but there are roles available that do not require you to be there every single day. We would love to have lots of people involved, and it is okay if you have conflicts, as long as you know your stuff and inform us of your whereabouts ahead of time!!
