Casting Kids for Documentary Style Series "I Love Being Me"

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Seeking kids ages 5-12 for a Documentary Style Series. More details are below. Abot the project: ILBM is an early school age documentary style series that brings us into the worlds of children who are often seen as ‘other’ or ‘different’. In each 7-minute episode, directors capture a ‘day in the life’ of the child. The children spotlighted act as guides for our audience as we playfully explore the richness of language, culture, and diversity - differing abilities, characteristics, and traits we can see and those we might not, make every child special. They are fun, personal stories that will encourage the natural curiosity in all children, normalizing differences to celebrate the beautiful uniqueness of every child. It is revelatory and relatable, and most of all it is kids watching kids being kids and loving themselves. Every episode ends with an exuberant shout out: "I love being ME!". Additional information: Applicants must be comfortable on camera, inquisitive and outgoing, with great expressive ability. All participants, if selected, are required to sign an appearance release, provided on location. Minors need sign off by parent or guardian.
