Theatre Audition "Our Town" Searching For Kids

About the project: OUR TOWN is considered by many to be the best and most enduring American play of all time. First staged on Broadway in 1938, this glorious story has played the world over. Witness the Webb and Gibb families as their children fall in love, marry and eventually - in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre - leave this earth. As relevant today as it ever was! Rate: $50 per performance Additional info: OUR TOWN will run on our new BEEHIVE STAGE from July 6, 2026 through October 24, 2026. For this production, directors will not be able to offer any AEA contracts. Call backs will be held in person on Saturday, December 20, 2025 and will be by invitation only. There will be additional reading at the call backs. When applying, please have your video ready as a YouTube link (no shorts), one link only. The director has asked for a short comic or dramatic monologue (60 seconds or less) from an American playwright, preferably 20th century (EX: Thornton Wilder, Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, George S. Kaufman, Lorraine Hansberry, Eugene O’Neill, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Neil Simon, August Wilson, Woody Allen, William Gibson, Ken Ludwig, Sam Shepard, etc.) All video submissions will be due by 10pm, Friday, December 5, 2025. Videos submitted after 10pm will not be considered.
