Casting Kids For "Cinderella" Show

About the project: The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true, and so was a second remake in 1997, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, this romantic fairy tale still warms the hearts of children and adults alike. This Enchanted Edition is inspired by the 1997 teleplay. Additional info: Please note that the fee applies. Have a short song prepared and plan to read a part from the show. Show dates: March 20, 21, & 22, 2026 All rehearsals and performances at Hubbardston Center School. Rehearsals Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays 6:30- 9 pm (Beginning January 6th) Also be aware (especially parents of young children) that the week prior to the show, "Tech Week" will be hold rehearsal 12 - 6 pm on Sunday (March 15th) and every evening that week leading up to the Friday night show. (Typically directors will have 1 night off). These rehearsals usually begin around 5 pm and can go as late as 10 pm. It is a long and exhausting week, and attendance at these rehearsals are mandatory. ​ ​​​​Please print out and fill in the Audition Form in advance if possible.
