"South Pacific" Play Searching For Teens

Additional info: Dance Auditions and Call Backs: Sat, Dec 6: 9 am - 12 pm There will be auditioners called back for specifically for Dance What To Prepare for Auditions: First, 1:00-1:30 of a song* Oscar Hammerstein collaboration with Jerome Kerns, Lorenz Hart or Richard Rodgers is recommended but not required. This will give an indication of how you approach a song from this style of musical. However, a song that you feel shows off your voice the best is more than acceptable. You will bring your track for your audition on your phone and directors will plug it into the system. Would prefer you to audition with a background track but acapella, singing without music, is allowed. Second, there may be readings done from the musical. However, if you are an actor who believes that an open reading is not a strength of yours, please prepare a 60-second comedic monologue. The monologue is requested BUT NOT REQUIRED. Third, please be able to list all your conflicts at auditions Will be dividing each audition up in 30 minute blocks And don't forget to keep reading to get ALL the information about the new Community Theatre Program!
