Casting Call: The Little Mermaid – Perry Ryan Theatre Company Production Details: Perry Ryan Theatre Company is seeking local talent for our next community production of The Little Mermaid! Actors aged 10+ are encouraged to audition. Those aged 10–17 must submit a digital pre-screening via the Youth Audition Form by December 1st. Selected candidates will be contacted by the following Wednesday. Prepare a 32-bar musical theatre song with sheet music and complete the Adult Audition Form (including headshot, resumé, and backing track link) by December 3rd at 8:00 PM. Ariel (Female, age 16–20) A strong-willed teenage mermaid who dreams of becoming human. Curious, big-hearted, and rebellious, Ariel is captivated by the world above the sea.
Flotsam & Jetsam (Flexible Gender, ages 16–30) Ursula’s sinister electric eel henchmen. Smooth, sneaky, and always lurking in the shadows.
Mersisters (Female, ages 13–20) Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Atina, Adella, and Allana — Ariel’s sisters. Fun, sassy, and full of personality.
Scuttle (Flexible Gender, age 15–25) An eccentric seagull and self-proclaimed expert on human objects. Chatty, comical, and full of energy.
Flounder (Flexible Gender, age 10–14) Ariel’s loyal best friend. Sweet, funny, and a little awkward, Flounder is full of heart and often braver than he thinks.
