"I Remember Mama" Child Audition for the Theater

Child auditions open for the theater production "I Remember Mama". See details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set in early 1900s San Francisco, the play follows Katrin, a young writer looking back on her Norwegian immigrant family — her wise and resourceful Mama, hardworking Papa, and a household full of vivid, endearing characters. — as they face life’s joys and challenges together. Told through tender, nostalgic vignettes, I Remember Mama celebrates the beauty of ordinary moments and the unbreakable bonds of family. Additional info: Production dates: Friday, March 7th through Sunday, March 15th. Six shows. Friday performances are at 7:00. Saturday and Sunday performances are at 2:30 Rehearsal period begins Jan 5th, 2026. The directors will rehearse Monday through Thursday, 6 to 9 pm. The directors will break rehearsals into scenes and sections of the play so that not everyone is needed at every rehearsal. The directors will build a rehearsal schedule that allows the younger actors to finish by 8:00. The directors will have 10-minute breaks throughout the evening. If you are interested please apply.
