"Freaky Friday" Musical Needs Boys and Girls
K-12th-grade students are eligible to audition for "Freaky Friday" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: When an uber-organized mother and her spontaneous teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right. Masquerading as each other, they must work together to solve the mystery of how to break the spell. By spending a day in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another in a way they never could have imagined. In the end, both learn the true power of love and the strength of the bond between a mother and daughter in this heartfelt and hilarious adaptation. Additional info: Rehearsals take place every Tuesday and Thursday between 4-8pm starting the first week of February and going through the week of the show. Leads will be required to come between 4-8pm, ensemble characters will come between 5-8pm. Performances will be April 17th at 7pm, April 18th at 2:30pm and 7pm, and April 27th at 2:30pm at Homewood Central Park. Note that a participation fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
