Seeking Teens for "Wizard of Oz" Show

Seeking teens aged 16-17 years old for the "Wizard of Oz" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale features the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale embarks on a fantastical adventure with her loyal dog Toto, alongside the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. Additional info: Please prepare (16-32 bars (about 1 minute) of a song in the style of the show, or a song from the show). "The Wizard of Oz" will be performed live at the Chesapeake Welcome Centers Theatre, March 6 – 15, 2026. Performances occur Fridays @ 7 PM, Saturdays @ 2 PM & 7 PM, and Sundays @ 2 PM. Rehearsals will start in January and be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Not all cast members will be called to all rehearsals. See the attachment for details.
