She is imaginative, funny, and full of life. She is figuring out the world around her, and projecting the roles society tells her to fill.
GRACE'S BFF. She is imaginative, funny, and full of life. Olivia is also very sensitive, and is grasping the idea of her moms breaking up. Her view of love gets tangled up.
The little boy who always bothers Olivia and Grace.
She is insecure, and her skin isn’t on just right. She experiences being catcalled, and finds that this is what life is like as you grow into being a woman. It shouldn’t be this way, and it makes her angry.
She is kind, accepting, but ultimately, wants to be loved by everybody else as well. She experiences being catcalled alongside Grace, something that stays with her. She wants to protect Grace, but that will tear them apart.

“Mean Girl”, but she’s just misunderstood
Friends with Olivia and Grace, but she’s more accepted by their peers. Olivia wants to be her friend so that the two can be safe from being made fun of, but Nicole is almost just as bad as Maddie.
The leader of Olivia’s new friend group.
Popular girl, she’s like, kinda like, a valley girl. But like, super sweet, and also super smart. All these girls are smart. She isn’t very judgemental, she’s just like every other girl wanting to be accepted by the leader of the pack.

This group of girls will be chasing 8 year old Xander around the playground. They’ll be wearing bronze war uniforms emulating Ancient Rome Gladiators.
Kids will just be playing on a playground. Filling up background space.
