"Pirates of Penzance" Show Needs Kids and Teens

Kids ages seven and up for the "Pirates of Penzance" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance is a classic comedic operetta packed with wit, wordplay, and melody! The story follows Frederic, a young man mistakenly apprenticed to a band of tender-hearted pirates. When he meets Mabel, the daughter of the bombastic Major-General Stanley, chaos, romance, and hilarity ensue. Additional info: What to Prepare: A classical, musical-theatre, or light-opera style song (think Gilbert & Sullivan, Rodgers & Hammerstein, etc.) Please bring a backing track, no a cappella auditions. Show Dates: March 13–15 & March 20–22 (Tech Week begins March 8) Rehearsals: Sundays 6–9 PM; Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays evenings. If interested, please apply.
