Casting Teen Performers for "August: Osage County" Play

Seeking actors ages 16 and up for "August: Osage County" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: This production explores family, grief, secrets, and survival- a story that’s as intimate as it is explosive. This isn’t a story for the faint of heart...it’s a journey through truth, tension, and the ties that bind us even when everything breaks. Additional info: No memorization is needed; those auditioning will be doing cold reads from the script. Please bring a list of any calendar conflicts with you. Familiarity with the play is encouraged, but not required. Auditions are open to performers ages 16 and up. Those under 18 must have a parent present at auditions. Upon casting, performers can expect the following: Script pick-up: Week of November 10 Rehearsals begin: Week of December 15 Mandatory rehearsals (Tech Week): February 15-19 Show dates: February 20-22 Mandatory strike follows the final show. Cast members will receive a full schedule after roles have been selected. Please note that three emergency Sunday rehearsals will be planned in case of inclement weather to make up missed material. No callbacks are planned, but Saturday performers may be asked to return on Sunday. If interested, please apply.
