About the project: The Trail to Oregon! is an original musical produced by Starkid Productions and was performed in Chicago in the summer of 2014. It is also the most historically accurate musical portraying the Oregon Trail - the game - to date; featuring 12 "educational" songs, a set precisely replicating the trail’s landscape, and appearances from famous historical figures, such as: Henry McDoon, Cletus Jones, and Cornwallis. The show will change every night - not only does the audience get to name the family, but they will also decide the ultimate fate of one of our travelers! Rate: All roles will be paid! Additional info: Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song for your audition. It is preferred, but not required, that it be in the same style as the musical. Please bring a backing track with you on a thumb drive or on your phone, the directors WILL NOT have a piano accompaniment at auditions. If you are interested please apply.
