Young Talent Wanted for "SpongeBob the Musical"

Seeking performers ages 9-18 years old for a "SpongeBob the Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! Additional info: Prepare 1 minute of the song of your choice. The characters in this show are animated. Directors encourage you to select something that not only shows your vocal skills but also your Ability to be expressive and perform as well. If you don't have a song prepared, directors will ask you to sing Happy Birthday. You can bring a track to play from your device or sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. There will also be a dance call at the end of each audition session. Directors ask that you wear or bring a change of comfortable clothing to move around in, closed-toed shoes, and make sure your hair is pulled back out of your face. IMPORTANT INFO: Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9- 12 p.m. starting January 2026. Tech Week will be February 23rd - 26th.
