Students between the ages of 7 and 18 can audition for Disney's "Newsies JR." Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Song Cuts: Medda - Just a Pretty Face: m.106 to end Katherine - Watch What Happens: m.22-63 Jack - Santa Fe: m.28 to end Crutchie - Letters from the Refuge: beginning-m.47 Ensemble - King of New York: m.61 to end Eligibility Requirements: Students must be between the ages of 7-18 years old. Students must have successfully completed at least one class or camp program to be eligible for our production OR be a student in the Philadelphia School District. Please review the current rehearsal + performance schedule here: Rehearsals: April 16 & 17 - 4 pm-8 pm April 18 - 12 pm-8 pm April 19 - 10 am-6 pm April 23 & 24 - 4 pm-8 pm April 25 & 26 - 10 am-6 pm April 27 - 4 pm-8 pm May 1 - 4 pm-8 pm May 2 & 3 - 10 am-6 pm Tech: May 4 - 8 am-6 pm (absence notes will be provided) May 5 - 2 pm-9 pm May 6 - 2 pm-9 pm May 7 - 8 am-1 pm (invited dress, absence notes will be provided) Performances: May 9 & 10 at 11 am May 13 & 14 at 10:30 am (student matinees, absence notes will be provided) May 16 & 17 at 11 am May 20 & 21 at 10:30 am (student matinees, absence notes will be provided) May 30 & 31 at 11 am The audition material is attached to the signup link.
