About the project: In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas! This delightful show is adapted from the bestselling Young Adult book. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and lots of laughs. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. THERE ARE NO IN-PERSON CALLBACKS FOR THIS SHOW FIRST REHEARSAL: Wednesday, October 22 PERFORMANCES AT STUDIO 3: December 12-20 Many adult roles will have limited rehearsal time. Rehearsal may be only 1 day per week for these roles, with 2-3 days per week for larger lead and supporting roles. This show may be DOUBLE CAST. Looking at having one cast with adults as the adult roles, and another cast with teens as the adult roles. Not all actors are called for all rehearsals. These are the possible days that rehearsals will be scheduled. Please plan to have rehearsal conflicts listed on your audition application. Wednesday, October 22 (read through and parent info meeting) Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting October 22 No Rehearsal Oct 24 or Nov 26 2-3 hours each day. Tech Rehearsals December 3 & 5 Performances December 6, 7, 12, 13, 19, 20 Let us know if you cannot perform on a Sunday WHAT TO PREPARE: Please come prepared to read for at least two characters in the audition sides provided.
