Tough, aggressive teen, though not in a loud way - warrior of the pen and the tongue, perhaps. Emily aspires to be a novelist, idolizes F. Scott Fitzgerald, capital- Romantic at heart. Baby-face: talking to her is to be ready to be yelled at by an overgrown kid who grew up reading the thesaurus for fun. (Actor should look 15/16ish, English-speaking role but bonus if they know a bit of Mandarin)
