About the project: Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr. is a musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream Jr. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II. This musical revue is a thrilling mix of contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand-new medleys that are sure to surprise and delight Disney lovers of all ages. Additional info: Callbacks, October 15th PERFORMANCE DATES: December 12-14, Friday 6:30 pm; Saturday 10:30 am & 6:30 pm; Sunday at 2:00 PM with matinees on December 17 & 18 at 9 & 11 am You must be available for ALL performances. No conflicts accepted for performance dates or the tech/dress week of opening. No exceptions. Be prepared to sing a one-minute cut of a song and bring the sheet music with you. Please hole-punch your sheet music and put it in a three-ring binder or folder. An accompanist will be provided. Please no A cappella singing, instrumentals on CD, Tape, iPod, MP3 Player or digital recorder. Be prepared to learn a short, choreographed dance routine. You may bring dance shoes to change into and wear clothing for movement If you are called back, you will be asked to read from the script and sing selections from the show.
