"A Christmas Carol: A Frontier Ghost Story" Play is looking for performers aged 10 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Renowned around the world, A Christmas Carol remains one of the most beloved tales of redemption and hope — but this time, it’s heading west. In this brand-new adaptation by Marc Anthony Glover, Dickens’ classic story is reimagined in the dusty frontier town of Whispering Hollow, where cold hearts and colder nights test the spirit of Christmas itself. With saloon girls, miners, cowboys, and ghostly presences of the plains, this retelling fuses the heart of Dickens’ message with the grit and charm of the Old West. It’s a haunting, heartfelt, and wholly original holiday experience — where the spirit of Christmas rides again. Additional info: All experience levels are welcome! Accents, big personalities, and a willingness to explore both comedy and drama are encouraged. WHAT TO PREPARE: Cold readings from the script (provided at auditions). No monologue required. Bring a headshot and resume if available. Dress comfortably and be ready to move, read, and explore character work REHEARSALS: Monday – Friday, 6:30 PM – 9:00/9:30 PM Not all company members will be called every evening.
