"Finding Nemo Jr." Musical Needs Kids and Teens

"Finding Nemo Jr." Musical auditions are open for grades 2nd - 12th. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Disney’s "Finding Nemo JR. "is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and overprotective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid, Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Additional info: Auditions will consist of a singing portion and a dance call. Some actors may be invited to Callbacks on Tuesday evening. Actors should prepare 30-45 seconds of a Disney song, or song from a Musical. Their song selection should showcase their vocal strengths, and their acting ability. Encourage your actor(s) to choose a song that they feel confident singing, and that allows them to have fun. Rehearsals for Finding Nemo Jr. will begin on October 20th, and Performances will be December 4th-7th, 11th-14th. If interested, please apply.
