Kids Needed for "T’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: The Musical"

About the project: The Story: A fully-staged, musical adaptation of the beloved 1946 Frank Capra film that starred Jimmy Stewart. In the 1920s, George Bailey grows up dreaming of adventure and travel. But the Depression and life’s obligations keep him stuck in sleepy Bedford Falls. When a crisis pushes George to the brink, his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody, appears to show him what the world would have lost if George had never lived. In flashbacks, Clarence shows George how much his care and love for the people of Bedford Falls have mattered to the quality of their lives. It is a heartwarming and timeless tale. Additional info: Some double casting will take place, to accommodate the long run. Young actors can prepare a popular Christmas song for their auditions. Rehearsals: Music rehearsals will begin the week of Sept. 6. In general, rehearsals are 7:00-9:30 pm, Mon – Fri with actors called only when needed. Some weekend evening rehearsals may be scheduled, if needed. No one will be called to rehearse more than 5 dates in any given week. Show dates: 18 performances over five weekends, Nov. 14 – Dec. 14, 2025. Performances: Wednesdays at 7:30 (on Nov 26 and Dec 3 only), Thursdays at 7:30, Fridays at 8:00, Saturdays at 2:00 and Sundays at 2:00. (No Saturday evening shows are on the schedule.)
