"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" Show Needs Boys and Girls
Kids between the ages of 6 and 13 are welcome to audition for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple, struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant, is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head-on! This delightful comedy, adapted from the bestselling Young Adult Book, has plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas carols, and lots of laughs. Additional info: Children will be asked to read from the script, and they may be asked to sing a Christmas carol or a short song. No music is necessary. Rehearsals will be held in Damariscotta and will take place either after school, early evenings, or on Saturdays (depending on cast availability).
