Kids Needed for "A Christmas Coral" Play
Kids and teens are needed for "A Christmas Coral" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: Dana is already struggling to direct an adaptation of Dicken's A Christmas Carol, dealing with big personalities in big roles (really, how petty can two old farts be?). But when all the production material arrives with an egregious typo, she and her team decide to transform the show into an undersea spectacle. Additional info: Before you audition: Gather a list of ALL schedule conflicts between the audition date and the final performance date. This is important. The director will cast the show and create a rehearsal schedule based on the provided conflicts. If you (or your child) are cast, it is your obligation to adhere to the rehearsal schedule once it is set. If you have never auditioned with us, and/or if you have a lot of theatre credits, we encourage you to bring a photo headshot and/or theatre résumé with you to auditions. Directors have put together a basic theatre résumé template in Google Doc attached you can use as a guide. This is a generic guide only. A résumé is optional for most directors and does not have to look like this! REHEARSALS: IDEALLY, we will rehearse Mon/Tues/Thurs at 6:30pm, and Saturday at 9:30am, with a very occasional Wednesday or Friday instead of Tuesday. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal, BUT if you are called to a rehearsal, it is your obligation to be there unless it was on your conflict sheet. Everyone cast will be called to the first rehearsal will be 9:30am Saturday, October 11th. If interested, please apply.
