Children Theatre Casting for "The Emperor’s New Clothes" Play

Seeking kids and teens for "The Emperor’s New Clothes" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: The Emperor's New Clothes is a play based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, where a vain emperor obsessed with fashion is duped by two con men who claim to weave magical clothes invisible to the stupid or incompetent. Officials and townsfolk, fearing to be seen as foolish, all pretend to see the non-existent garments. The deception is only revealed when a child in the crowd innocently cries out that the emperor is wearing nothing at all, exposing everyone's vanity and the emperor's foolishness. Additional info: Note: Actors aged 13 and under must be acompanied by an adult willing to be in the show. There is no need to prepare a song or dance. Everyone will learn a song and dance together at the audition. These auditions customarily attract over 100 participants for around 40 parts!
