Casting Call for Girls for "Little Women" Show
Seeking girls ages 10 and up for "Little Women" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Conceived in 2019, Little Women was (and is intended) to be a walk-along & fully immersive production that is both an indoor and outdoor experience. Actors move and incorporate the audience throughout the entire property of the Harn. We do not perform in severe weather conditions and most performances are matinees. It is truly a magical and unique experience. Additional info: This is non-equity, community theater. Auditions will consist of reading from the sides & monologues provided in the attached audition packet. Rehearsals begin Monday, October 13th, and will run Monday through Thursday from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Not everyone will be called every day. Performances will be held November 21-23, a break for Thanksgiving, then return November 29 & 30, and December 5-7 Please see the attachment for details. If interested, please apply.

Story’s protagonist does not lead our story like other versions of Little Women. Although, the story does primarily center around Jo, and her world experiences. Jo longs to be a writer, and is very intellectual which makes it difficult for her sisters to understand her at time. She is impatient and has a quick temper, working hard to control both. She is what some would call a "tomboy", but really she just has no interest for the limitations placed on women and girls during this time period.
First act is Little Amy. The youngest, most energetic sister with a rather pompous air about her.
