Teens Needed for "All Shook Up" Musical

Seeking ages 17 and up for "All Shook Up" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: All Shook Up, a joyful celebration of music, rebellion, and the courage to be yourself. Built around the unforgettable hits of Elvis Presley, this jukebox musical follows a small town turned upside down when a guitar-slinging rebel rolls in. Additional info: Callbacks: Sept. 28 at 2pm at Farr-Best Theater, Mansfield. Rehearsals will be week nights from 7-10pm and Weekends from 2-5pm depending on availability. Please mark all of your potential conflicts on the audition form. Specific rehearsal schedules will be handed out at Kick-off. ALL rehearsals will be held in Mansfield, Texas. ALL Tech Week rehearsals are REQUIRED (December 1st-December 4th) and will be held from 6pm-11pm at the Farr-Best Theater. Performances: Friday & Saturday, December 5 & 6 at 7:30pm Friday & Saturday, December 12 & 13 at 7:30pm Sunday, December 14 at 2:30pm (only matinee) When applying, please email a video submissions that should include your name and what role(s) you would like to be considered for. Choose a 32-bar excerpt. It would be helpful to choose something akin to Elvis Presley music, so think soul music from the 50s and 60s. Musical theatre options that would fit would include patter, such as songs from Into the Woods, Footloose, or Bonnie and Clyde to name a few. Choose something that shows off your vocal range and style. Videos should be uploaded to YouTube and made unlisted.
