Casting Children for "A Christmas Carol" Show

Kids and teens are invited to audition for the "A Christmas Carol" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: No preparation or prior experience is necessary to audition. Directors will have excerpts of the script for you to read on stage with others attending the auditions. They will also take your picture and have you fill out an audition sheet so they have your contact and scheduling information. Most rehearsals will be scheduled based on actor availability. Tech rehearsals will take place the week prior to opening night, and there will be a dress rehearsal on Thursday before opening night. While there is some flexibility on attendance at tech rehearsals, your attendance is expected at the dress rehearsal and all performances. We may have the opportunity to perform for area schools one day during the week of December 15th, but that won't be determined until school starts. Production Schedule: Tech Week: All call run-throughs for lights, sound, set, and costume work: Monday, December 8th through Wednesday, December 10th: 6 pm to 9 pm (time subject to adjustment) Invitation-Only Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, December 11th, 6 pm call, 7 pm curtain.
