Casting Teen Performers for "Luna & Solis" Play

"Luna & Solis" Play is looking for teen performers. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The sun and the moon have loved one another from afar for eons, but their responsibility to humanity keeps them apart. They are only able to meet in person during an eclipse, when they take corporeal form. However, eventually they grew weary of putting the lives of humans above their one happiness, and decide to run away together during the latest solar eclipse. What will humankind have to do to restore the balance? Additional info: Prepare a 1-2 minute monologue of your choosing. If you would prefer, you can use monologues selected from the script at the end of this document. Directors will have hard copies printed out at the auditions. Auditioners are also encouraged to slate, which is introducing themselves and their piece before starting the acting portion. You may be asked to do it twice with new instructions from the directors. If you can play an instrument, please be prepared to play a 45-second piece of your choosing. A piano can be provided on-site. A guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and cello can be provided upon request. All other instruments will have to be provided by musician. Callbacks: Monday, September 22nd, from 6 PM – 8:30 PM First Rehearsal/Table Read: Saturday, September 27th from 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM Directors will also have our Parent/Caregiver Meeting at the first rehearsal. A guardian must attend the first 30 minutes of the rehearsal to review the actor's contract and ask any questions they might have about the rehearsal process.
