20 roles
(Tenor) an old and frail theatre cat. In his dream, Gus becomes Growlitger - a swashbuckling pirate.
(Soprano) featured singer and dancer. Bombalurina is one half of the duo who sings 'Macavity'. She is also a fierce protector of the tribe and is excellent with mezzo vocals.
(Tenor) a distinguished, aristocratic tomcat. Good living has made him round and plump.
(Soprano) is one-half of the duo who sings 'Macavity'. A neurotic, but highly intuitive cat. Very strong mezzo vocals with strong chest belt.
(Soprano) a character featured in the song "Growltiger's Last Stand." She is portrayed as a fluffy white Persian cat, Growltiger's lover, and a large-than-life parody of an operatic soprano.
(Soprano/Mezzo) is a survivor, but she is vulnerable and now outcast from the tribe. She was once very glamorous, but with age, her beauty is fading.
(Soprano) is usually portrayed as a more mature queen, patient and nurturing when dealing with the elderly Gus and the young kittens.
(Soprano) Gumbie Cat, strong belt & mix. Quirky, delightful character actress with a great sense of humor. Must move well. Tap is a plus.
(High Baritone) is the magician, impish, with an expansive personality. Must be a phenomenal and exciting principal dancer. Magical, aloof, enigmatic, quirky, loves to show off.
(High Baritone) strong dancer with a high baritone for Mungojerrie and high belt for Rumpleteazer. Lots of personality, young, full of energy, impudent, and cheeky.
(Baritone) In the absence of Old Deuteronomy, he is the leader of the cats. He stands out due to his imposing, energetic, and courageous manner, and exudes maturity and dignity.
(High Baritone/Tenor) the wise, kind, and very old leader of the cats. He has authority and dignity. He should radiate understanding and warmth.
(Rock Tenor) a charismatic and anarchic character, notoriously hard to please, and sets himself apart from others by trying to be different; he always does the opposite of what is expected of him
(Soprano/Mezzo) young, high-energy, mischievous character. She is usually depicted as a teenager or older kitten, typically veering towards more childish behaviour. Together with Mungojerrie, her partner-in-crime, Rumpleteazer often gets into all sorts of trouble, such as petty theft.
(High Baritone/Tenor) a fastidious, neat, and ordered cat, obsessed with punctuality and cleanliness, yet possessing a big heart and sense of exuberance.
(Soprano/Mezzo), a naive and shy white kitten who is known for her beauty and poise. She is a very quiet cat.
(Tenor) a heroic figure, appearing in "The Awefull Battle of the Pekes and the Pollicles" to scare off dogs, and is often one of the Jellicles performing a play with an exaggerated superhero persona. He is portrayed as enthusiastic and somewhat clumsy in his performance, though he is considered a legend among the Jellicle cats.
(Soprano) jovial, idealistic, and free of prejudices. She serves as a juxtaposition to the aged and downtrodden Grizabella. Unlike the other cats, the wide-eyed Jemima is receptive to Grizabella when they first meet.
(Baritone) is the central villain and a criminal mastermind. He is known as the "Napoleon of Crime," possessing mystical powers and an ability to disappear, and is a cunning and malevolent cat who commits crimes while always evading capture.
(Baritone) is one of the adult toms, usually appearing to be of the same generation as Munkustrap and Rum Tum Tugger. He puts on a confident and somewhat self-centered front, but is loyal and takes his instruction from the protector of the tribe, Munkustrap.
