Seeking actors ages 15 and up for "The Play That Goes Wrong" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: The play is a raucous comedy. Involving a lot of physical humor including stage rolls, falls and stumbles. Actors will be running into walls; door frames and all of this action will be choreographed to ensure safety of the cast. Additional info: Auditioners may prepare a one to two-minute dramatic or comedic monologue of their choice. But it is not necessary to be considered for the cast. Directors will do cold readings from the script. They will ask auditioners who are physically able to perform a staged tuck and roll, a stumble, and a crash into a wall. If you are unable to do this or feel uncomfortable doing this in an audition. And this will not prevent you from being cast. But it may limit our ability to cast you for some of the principal characters. An audition contact form will be filled out at auditions or may be downloaded from the attachment and filled out and brought with you to auditions. Those chosen for the cast will receive notice via phone on Saturday, Sept 6th, at 5 pm. Read through on Monday, Sept. 8th, 6 pm at the Theatre is Mandatory. If interested, please apply.
