"The Nutcracker: A Tale from the Bayou" Needs Boys and Girls

"The Nutcracker: A Tale from the Bayou" seeks dancers 8 years old through 8th grade. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your dancer’s scheduled audition time. Girls should wear a leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Boys can wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers. Rehearsals with the professional artistic staff are on either Saturday or Sunday from mid-October until the week of the production. Rehearsals are one to two hours long, depending on the role. One to two night rehearsals will be required from December 16-19. The director must approve any absences in advance. PERFORMANCE DATES: Saturday, December 20th, 2025 Sunday, December 21st, 2025 Note that a small participation fee is charged, and costumes are provided. Please download the attachment for details.
